Community Access & Participation

We support individuals in actively engaging with their community by assisting them to participate in meaningful social, recreational, educational, and cultural activities.

Community participation is not only about attending activities but also about building confidence, developing relationships, and reducing social isolation.

How We Support You

We start with what you enjoy, or used to enjoy, and what has been getting in the way. Some people want one regular outing a week. Others want to try several things before settling on one.

We plan the practical side with you, such as getting there, access and how long you want to stay, and your support worker comes along for as much or as little of it as you want. The aim is that you are part of things, not watching from the side.

Based in Randwick, we support participants in suburbs within about 16 km, including Coogee, Maroubra, Kensington, Kingsford, Bondi, Mascot, Rosebery, Botany and the Sydney CBD.
